I appreciate your questions about the portal's origins and purpose.
The Southwood Community Portal (southwoodhoa.com) is a collaborative initiative created by and for the entire Southwood community, including Stone Castle and Whitestone members. It represents the collective effort of numerous community volunteers who have contributed their time, expertise, and input to create an inclusive, transparent platform for all residents.
While Keys Caldwell's notifications are currently limited to the three HOA entities that retain their services, our portal serves the broader Southwood community. This distinction is important, as our goal is to ensure that all community members have access to relevant information and resources, regardless of their specific HOA management company affiliation.
One of the portal's key objectives is to establish a centralized, cloud-based system for storing and managing community information. This approach ensures that crucial block-specific data remains accessible to community members and any future property management firms, protecting our community's institutional knowledge and continuity of operations.
The portal is designed to be an unbiased source of information for the entire Southwood community. Our volunteer contributors come from various parts of the community, and we actively welcome additional support and participation from all residents who wish to help make Southwood a more unified neighborhood.
If you're interested in contributing or have suggestions for improving the portal, we would be delighted to have your involvement. Every community member's perspective adds value to this collaborative effort.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions or would like to discuss ways to participate in this community initiative.
